Introduction

The present and future of Vocal Instruction and Coaching is contingent upon current and advanced approaches, which will be addressed for each individual and collective group of students attending the classes.

  • During these small to medium size group sessions students will be assessed, introduced to levels of vocal placement and techniques, experience ear training as well as vocal styles and arrangements, and encouraged to have input and interactive involvement in their learning experience. A part of this exciting opportunity will include a component to address health and care of the voice.

  • Offered in the session, we will explore the effects of the environment, and how we can manage the voice through changes in healthy lifestyles. The voice is as great as its bodily system will allow.

  • As a part of our ongoing bodily growth, development, and/or impairment of the voice, it is especially vital for students as well as aspiring artists, professional vocalists, actresses, spoken word artists, and speakers to address and care for these vocal issues in advance, and as vocal changes come into place.

Ms. Sherry Wilson-Butler is a great teacher!

I’ve worked with four different teachers so far and found Ms. Wilson-Butler to be the best of them. She has so much knowledge and she shares it effectively, taking each student’s individual needs into consideration.

My vocal skills are at a higher level after each class I take with her, and I get positive feedback on the quality of my vocalization and on my professionalism.

I highly recommend Ms. Wilson-Butler!
